This guild was established in 1998 by a few ladies in order to create a community of quilters to share ideas, develop their skills and encourage the tradition of quilt making in the local Kings County Area.  Membership is open to anyone interested in learning about quilting, whether they are admirers of the artwork or they are creators of the artwork.  Annual membership dues are $30.00.  If you would like to visit one of our meetings you are welcomed to do so.  We charge $5.00 only if we have a guest speaker that the guild has contracted with.

We meet at 6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month.   The business part of the meeting begins at 7:00.  We have many fine speakers and fun at the meetings.  Please see the Meetings and Workshop  page for dates and speaker information.

WE HAVE MOVED OUR MEETING LOCATION!

Starting on May 1, 2008, we will be meeting at the Church of the Saviour Episcopal Church at 519 N. Douty St. in Hanford.  It is right across the street from the Kings Art Center.   Please do not park at the nearby Mortuary parking lot.  I have been informed that they will tow unauthorized vehicles.
